In January 1974, the decision was made to celebrate the nurses day on 12 May as it is the anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale, who is widely considered the founder of modern nursing. The day is for nurses to celebrate their profession and unite to take pride in their jobs and show the world the importance of their work.

haaaa even saya tak jadi registered nurse lagi, tapi student nurse pon dah boleh celebrate taw. jadi kamu-kamu perlulah and wajiblah wish kat saya hokeeee=)

ofcoz, all of nursing's school are organizing something for their baby nurses. Macam kolej TERCINTA saya, kitaorang akan organize nurses day celebration on 25th may, and the nurses annual dinner on the next day. Cool izzit?hope so =..=

plus. on 12th May 2011, me and the chosen baby nurses++lecturers will be attending International Nurses Day celebration dekat SACC, Shah Alam. First time nak pergi. oke, rase bertuah juga dapat pergi coz school aku bayar RM110 for each student. thankyouverymuchie.

last but not least...I'm wishing all nurses in the world:: Heppy Nurses Day, keep up the good and noble job.
